DKU Global Education Innovation Forum brings together educators, scholars, and academic leaders to explore the evolving landscape of higher education in Asia. Centered on the theme The Future of Teaching: Judgment, Authenticity, and Innovation in Asian Higher Education,” the forum examines how teaching and learning are being reshaped in an era defined by rapid technological change, particularly the rise of artificial intelligence.

Hosted at Duke Kunshan University, the forum reflects DKU’s commitment to innovative, interdisciplinary education grounded in the liberal arts. As institutions navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by AI, this gathering focuses on a critical question: how can educators cultivate independent thinking, preserve human agency, and design authentic learning experiences in increasingly AI-mediated environments? Rather than emphasizing technical proficiency alone, the forum highlights the importance of judgment, ethical engagement, and purposeful innovation in shaping the future of teaching.

Bringing together diverse perspectives and practical experiences, the forum creates a space for open dialogue, experimentation, and shared learning. Through this exchange, participants collectively explore how higher education can adapt responsibly while remaining anchored in its core mission—to develop thoughtful, capable, and lifelong learners prepared for an uncertain and complex world.
